Annual Commemoration Service
Sunday 2 November
Sunday 2 November at 6.00pm, we will be holding our annual Commemoration Service. At this service, we will be especially remembering those we love but see no more, through death. If you would like to remember, and have someone remembered, at this service, come along and record their name at the back of church before the service begins. You will be given the opportunity to light a candle for them. All are most welcome to attend.
Remembrance Sunday
Sunday 9 November
On Sunday 9 November, we will be holding our annual Remembrance Sundays services:
- 9.00am Parish Eucharist, at which the fallen will be remembered
- 10.50am A short Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial, with two minutes silence and the laying of wreaths
- 11.05am Morning Prayer for Remembrance Sunday
All are welcome to attend.
A Warm Welcome
Every Sunday morning there are two services, Parish Eucharist (Holy Communion) which is held at 9 am and our All Age Worship commences at 10.30 am. When you arrive at church, you will be greeted by a friendly Sidesperson, who will give you all you need for the service but if you have any other requirements, please let them know and they will be happy to assist you.
In between both services, and after our second service, you are welcome to join us for tea and coffee with a biscuit and a chat. Tea and coffee (and the biscuits!) are free, although you are welcome to make a donation if you wish, but there is absolutely no pressure to do so. Staying for refreshments is an excellent way to get to know people within our church community or simply just to get your bearings and sit quietly in God’s company for a while.
